If Honesty Is The Best Policy, Why Do Slimeballs Advance?
Let's say you are a Peace Or Police Officer in a certain city and you are the tactical expert in a certain part of the law. Your expertise is proven invaluable by the results of use. Conditions are corrected and fines are imposed to correct the offender.
Yet, you are called on the carpet and told that this method is NOT productive. Someone without that tactical knowledge is moved ahead of you to impose a system of productivity with greater numbers.
The numbers are greater than what you produced, in the case of sheer volume, but no fines were imposed & no conditions were corrected. Not only that, but quotas were ordered to move this numerical sleight of hand along.
The system like this, produces nothing of any true value. 50,000 X 0=0.
Several years ago, I caught heat for using the alternative system. Guess What? Conditions were corrected and fines imposed. Yet, I was branded a source of trouble by those whose system produced 25,000 X 0=0.
A Good Guy named Al, then introduced my system to the NYPD at a CompStat Meeting at 1 Police Plaza. He was heralded with praise, only for bosses at his Agency to screw him out of a promotion.
Junk Salesmen, as I call them, are pervasive throughout City Of New York Government. The ones who want you to "Go With The Flow", must be swimming a little too often in either Newtown Creek or the Gowanus Canal.
I was in a situation of working for an incompetent jackass, who had political connections through his parents. This useless putz could ruin a productive detail through a phone call to "The Right People", by the use of limiting something to use of a particular law which has little to no use in many categories.
He once stopped me from arresting some store owner for offering for sale, counterfeit goods on the street, a felony charge. He, instead, ordered me to write a summons to the guy, because of a new "Time Management Policy", which was cover for discrediting anyone who was an expert in their field. Of course, coming up with a description and realizing that this useless turd came up with this to curry favor with in house politicians was this guy's whole goal, was not easy and I was told to hurry this summons up, though the offence was not summonsable, I had to follow this moron's order. This jerk is a guy who yells "Sucky-Fucky, GI" at women in Flushing.
The whole purpose was so this useless jerk could run to the in house politicians, telling them that I didn't know what I was doing.
I looked like a fool in court, to satisfy the jerk and his political allies.
Beware of Bosses who hide in bathrooms while polishing their rockets!
